These Terms govern your use of Yavqo Papers, a writing and document service operated by Yavqo Corporation (“Yavqo,” “we,” “us”). By accessing or using Papers, you agree to these Terms. If you use Papers for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these Terms for it.
1. The service and this agreement
Yavqo Papers is operated by Yavqo Corporation. These Terms apply to the Papers website, workspace, editor, and related features.
2. Your account
Sign-in is provided through Yavqo OAuth. Keep access to your Yavqo account secure and tell us if you suspect someone has accessed your Papers account without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. We may restrict access when needed to protect users or the service.
3. Your content
You retain your rights to the text and other content you create in Papers. You give Yavqo permission to store, reproduce, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate and secure the features you use, including autosave, revision history, comments, suggested edits, and sharing. You are responsible for having the rights needed to add and share content.
4. Sharing and collaboration
Papers sharing uses links with viewer or editor permissions. Anyone who obtains an active link may use it with its assigned permission; editor links allow changes. You are responsible for distributing links appropriately and can revoke them in Papers. Revoking a link prevents future access through that link but does not retrieve copies, screenshots, or other material already made by recipients. Papers supports link-based review and editing, not simultaneous live co-editing.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Papers to break the law, violate another person’s rights, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, probe systems without authorization, or access accounts and Papers without permission. Do not use the service to store or share content you have no right to use. We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, Yavqo, or the service.
6. Third-party services and exports
Yavqo OAuth handles sign-in; Supabase may provide cloud storage for Papers; and your browser provides print-to-PDF. Those third-party services may have separate terms and privacy notices. The Papers .pps file is a versioned JSON-based format for transferring Markdown content; PDF print output and imported/exported files may not preserve every editor detail.
7. Changes, availability, and suspension
Papers is evolving and may be provided as a beta service. Features can change, be interrupted, or be discontinued for operational, security, or legal reasons. Autosave and cloud sync depend on service availability and your connection; keep exports of important work. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular response time.
8. Fees and cancellation
Papers does not currently offer a paid plan or accept payment through the app. If that changes, applicable prices and payment terms will be shown before you purchase.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Papers is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Yavqo does not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. You remain responsible for keeping copies of important work.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Papers changes or to address legal requirements. We will update the date above and provide notice of material changes where required. If you do not agree to an update, stop using Papers. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect indicates acceptance where permitted by law.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are provided by Yavqo Corporation. The company’s registered address, governing law, and dispute venue must be confirmed in the company details notice above; no jurisdiction or venue is asserted here.
