This policy explains how Yavqo Corporation (“Yavqo,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use Yavqo Papers, including its editor, workspace, history, exports, and sharing features.
1. Who is responsible
Yavqo Corporation operates Yavqo Papers. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@yavqo.com. Yavqo’s registered address and jurisdiction should be confirmed in the company details notice above.
2. Information used by Papers
- Yavqo account profile: when you sign in, Yavqo OAuth provides an account identifier and the profile fields authorized for Papers, such as your name, email address, username, and avatar. Papers uses these to identify your account and show your profile.
- Your Papers: titles, Markdown text, folders, comments, suggested edits, revision history, and sharing settings that you create.
- Service and request data: authentication/session and security information needed to operate the app and respond to requests. Hosting and infrastructure providers may generate technical logs as part of serving the site.
- Messages to us: information you include when contacting our support or privacy address.
Do not put information in a Paper that you are not permitted to store or share. Papers is a general writing tool and does not ask you to submit sensitive personal information.
3. Where Papers data is stored
Papers can keep drafts and related workspace data in your browser’s local storage when using local mode. If cloud storage is enabled for the service, account and document data are stored in Yavqo’s Supabase database, and the app also keeps a browser cache for workspace use. Browser data remains on that device until it is cleared or you sign out; signing out removes the Papers account cache from that browser.
Supabase database hosting is configured in the European Union (Frankfurt region) for the current project. Yavqo OAuth is used to authenticate you; the OAuth access token is used to retrieve your profile during sign-in and is not retained as the Papers session. The app uses its own signed session cookie.
4. How we use information
We use account and Paper data to sign you in, save and restore your work, organize Papers into folders, provide comments and suggested edits, create and revoke share links, generate exports you request, maintain security, and respond to support requests. We do not use document text to advertise to you.
5. Sharing and exports
A share link works like a key: anyone who has an active link can access the Paper with the permission assigned to that link (view or edit). Do not share a link with someone who should not see or change the Paper. You can revoke a link in Papers; revocation stops future access through that link, but cannot erase copies or screenshots already made. A person with edit access may change the shared Paper.
You can export a Paper in the Yavqo Papers .pps format or use your browser’s print flow to save a PDF. Exported files are saved outside Papers and are governed by how you store or share them.
6. Providers and disclosures
Yavqo OAuth provides sign-in and profile data. Supabase provides cloud database hosting when that mode is enabled. The website’s hosting provider may process request data to deliver and protect the service. We do not describe additional analytics, advertising, or email-tracking providers here because they are not part of the current Papers product flow. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the service, or Yavqo’s rights.
7. Retention, deletion, and security
Cloud Papers and account profile data remain while needed to provide your workspace. Papers keeps a limited revision history (up to 50 revisions per Paper); local history is stored in the browser. The app does not currently provide an in-app account deletion control. To request deletion of your Papers account or cloud data, email privacy@yavqo.com from your account email so we can verify the request. Some information may remain temporarily in provider backups or where retention is legally required. We use safeguards intended to protect the service, but no online service can promise perfect security.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
You can edit or delete Papers in the workspace, revoke share links, export individual Papers, and sign out to clear this browser’s Papers cache. Depending on the law that applies where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@yavqo.com to make a request or raise a concern with your local data protection authority.
9. Children
Papers is a general-purpose productivity service and is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Papers, contact us at privacy@yavqo.com.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Papers or our data practices change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required. Contact Yavqo Corporation at privacy@yavqo.com with questions or privacy requests.
